'Happy Hour' in the 'Round': food and drink from downtown eateries and entertainment establishments
will be available while guided tours and socializing warm the air of this last event of AIA Orlando's
Architecture Month.
The Nils M. Schweizer Fellows will hold a first viewing of the design competition by local architecture
students, showing how they envision the repurposing of the precast concrete curtain wall pieces. A
winner will be announced and prize moneys of $360.00 first place, $180.00 second place, and $90.00
third place will be awarded. Students will share their vision and discuss their concepts with those
present.
It is the intention of The Nils M. Schweizer Fellows to have these designs serve as a catalyst for
fundraising so that one of these designs can ultimately be built and displayed somewhere within the
City of Orlando. Donations can be made to the City of Orlando's not-for-profit corporation Strengthen
Orlando, Inc. -- Round Building Reuse
