About the event
Join us for a potluck gathering and NMS Fellows meeting where we will enjoy an evening of conversation about the residence of Jodi Rubin, designed by architect Joseph Shifalo. We are also excited to share new updates for the NMS Fellows group and will provide important information regarding membership and events.
- 6:00 PM: The evening will begin with wine and lite bites, providing the perfect opportunity to explore the house and its architectural details while mingling with fellow guests. This potluck-style gathering encourages everyone to bring their favorite dishes/drinks, adding a personal touch to the evening.
- 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: We will convene for the meeting, where key items will be discussed to further our shared goals. While the agenda is yet to be finalized, rest assured that the topics will be both engaging and relevant, aiming to foster insightful discussions about the future of our organization and the preservation of architectural heritage.
Jodi will share historical information about the residence and its architect. This 3-bedroom/3-bath residence, built in 1960, retains its original terrazzo floors, kitchen cabinets, and bathrooms. Nestled alongside a lake, the property is surrounded by shaded trees and native plants creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.
